A Cup of Coffee
By Stacey Newson
Coffee anyone? Meeting in the break room early in mornings on Casual Fridays waiting for that first cup of coffee to get your day started. You have to remember that those coffee beans had to be ground and brewed in order for you to get that perfect morning blend that you so love. There's nothing like the smell of fresh brewed coffee in the morning with breakfast and good conversation with a friend. After all, coffee is said to be the preferred beverage during the morning hours. It is estimated that sixty five percent of the coffee intake is consumed during breakfast time. Just like they say, wake up and smell the coffee, and get your day started.
Everything in moderation, you should not drink more than four coups of coffee a day. Some people feel that drinking several cups of coffee a day may help protect your heart. This may or may not be true. But, you should take into consideration the fact that there are people who are sensitive from the effects that coffee have on them, do to drinking a lot of coffee.
Is the splurge for that favorite flavor expensive? No. The average price for a cup of specialty coffee is $3.00 and up. The price is not that bad for something that you enjoy doing. More than half of the adult population drink coffee every morning. We do love our coffee. As with any other product there are so many flavors and brands to choose from, you can try different flavors each day. Some of the most popular flavors today are Dark rosted, Lattes, French vanilla and many other great tastes.
Whether you make instant coffee or brew your own in the morning, there is definitely a coffee culture. People are meeting in the mornings at coffee cafés, hanging out in the break room at work, meeting at fast food restaurants, just to have a cup of coffee with your friends and acquaintances.
